MATURITY METERS - M-METERS - MATURIMETRY
|
| |
Objective:
These maturity systems (M-meters) MS21 record temperature and evaluate continuously
maturity of fresh concrete; they indicate accurately when concrete has reached the
required compressive strength allowing then form removal, post tensioning or carrying
on of work.

Principle:
The technique of the maturity systems (M-meters) MS21 is based on the history of the
recorded temperature of the concrete inside the work and which lets calculate the progress
rate of the hydration reactions corresponding to the hardening of concrete.

Systems:
The maturity systems (M-meters) MS21 are multichannel instruments, formed in several
elements (jobsite module, terminal) that measure the actual temperature of the maturing
concrete through numerical sensors bounded into the concrete.
The running real time is integrated with temperature and activation energy is taken into
account in the mathematical system. The whole measurements are stored in a non volatile
memory which can be transferred into the computer.
There are several patterns of maturity meters (M-meters) available depending on their uses:
constructive works (viaducts, bridges, tunnels...), precast, off shored and so on.
